My name is Kara Zor-El, though some people call me Supergirl, and I'm a warden aboard an extra-temporal inter-universal prison ship which we call the Barge. I come from the planet Krypton, but our ship is able to translate most forms of communication. That's why you can understand me.

The last time our network malfunctioned I asked to speak with any other Kryptonians who might be receiving my broadcast. I would still like to talk with you, if you aren't busy, but really I only want to chat a while. I've been on this ship for a year now, and it's always nice to see new faces.

It's nice to meet you, Robo. Are you from Earth, then? Or some other planet my cousin has visited?

Oh, I'm from Earth. Currently living in New York. Ever been?

Oh, I have! [ This is basically the only Earth city she knows the name of and has visited for any length of time. ]

My friend Siobhan lives there.

Ah, yeah. Well, that's where I call home a lot of the time. There's no place like the Big Apple.

I'll have to look around more the next time I'm on Earth.
