notdreaming: stare, neutral, sad (decidedly super)
[ Only a small handful of people might know that Kara has been keeping to herself for the last few days, and even fewer might know why. One of the latter is a very new friend, Claire. It doesn't take much, honestly, to be Kara's friend: just a bit of luck and altruism. Now Kara faces the screen quite seriously, but with that recovered air of dignity that has been so challenged since Victor Creed's attack. ]

Hello. I just wanted to know- sorry if it's been said, I've been distracted by [ healing, embarrassment, anger, some questionable research involving novels set in prison ] other things. What punishment was given to the man with the claws? I think I heard his name was Victor? If I'm not allowed to know that I'd like to know how someone is punished when they attack a warden. I mean, I know what I want to do. [ Hit them! A lot! With super strength! ] But what do you usually do here?

[ WARDEN FILTER ]

This definitely isn't related at all [ yes it is ], but I was wondering if someone could teach me how to fight. I was supposed to learn on Krypton, but I never got very good at it. Specifically, if anyone with super strength or experience teaching someone with super strength could spare the time, I'd greatly appreciate it.
notdreaming: (did I do something wrong?)
I'll be honest, that was a lot less bizarre than turning into a Terran mechanic.

[ Kara brushes a strand of hair out of her face and over her ear while she faces the camera, which she has set up at eye level and is apparently quite comfortable using. She smiles amiably at the device, as though to verify that it really wasn't as bad as certain people have made it out to be. She turns away for a brief moment to pick up a book, which she displays to the camera: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. ]

I was wondering how many of you are familiar with this book. I found it in the library. I thought it was pretty weird as a kid, but I just read it again and I really kind of like it. Is it true that it was written for the daughter of a family friend of the author's?

Oh, and two other things. [ She counts them off on her hand. ]

To the boy who made the pies, they were fantastic, and thank you! [ She grins brightly before turning sober again and a bit sheepish. She's not really sure this is worth mentioning. ] And, uh... I really have to ask, does anyone know what the deal is with the huge dog? Not you, Dog, I know why you're here, but this one doesn't talk. I've seen it twice now, and never with anyone else around. It seems nice enough, just... strange.
