[ Since learning what's going on with the network, Kara has changed into her ceremonial armor. If she's broadcasting to the multiverse, past present and future, she wants to be wearing her family crest when she does it. Her expression is hesitantly hopeful. ]

Our house was honored to have one of our family members chosen to captain one of the ships sent out. Her name was Kara Zor-El. Her ship was never heard from.

Space travel? [ That's both exciting and strange. ] We never managed it. The planet's gravitational pull was too strong, and then the Council had to outlaw it because so many people were killed in the attempts.

This was eons ago. We haven't traveled in space for centuries. Though it would benefit us, the council has not accepted it.
