29 - The horror of that moment I shall never, never forget

Dean attacked Anya.

[ Kara is furious and covered in blood. Don't worry, none of it is hers - it's smeared over her arms, hands, and chest from carrying Anya. There's also a big streak across her face, clearly from pushing her hair back over her ear. She's returned to the infirmary after first giving Anya triage and second locking Dean in a cell. ]

He's in Zero now. If the punishment isn't leaving him to rot there for the rest of his sorry existence, I don't want anything to do with it. [ Her voice is icy cold with the hatred she's feeling right now. Not just for Dean, either - for the Admiral too. ]

Anya is alive and being treated. I doubt she'll welcome casual visitors.

Ah, and maintenance - Pietro and I had to destroy one of the cells. I don't know if the Admiral will replace what was broken. He doesn't seem to care.

[Guess Anya figured out Dean's M.O. after all, is what he thinks...buuut doesn't mention out loud. Kara looks pretty pissed]

Well. If I had a way of sending her flowers, I would. Hope the kid's all right after all that.

[ Now she actually thinks about it, and you can see her brain stop. She looks at her hands, sticky with someone else's blood. She swallows thickly, looking like she might burst in to tears. ]

I have to go.

[ The feed shuts off while she goes to check on Pietro again. ]

[Yeah. Thought so.

Cold pinches the bridge of his nose, debating the pros and cons of getting involved.

Maybe not this time around, but he will at some point drop by Anya's bedside as a courtesy. This blonde girl can handle the kid.

And even if she can't, he's an inmate. Not his responsibility.]
